Both our Photovoltaic (PV) & Wind Turbine systems can be connected to the national grid allowing you to "sell" your electricity back to your utility company.

The raw electricity generated by the system is connected to an Inverter which in turn in linked to the national grid. The Inverter converts the electricity to the same voltage of that of the national grid.

In principle when your system is generating electricity it will be used to supply your demand any excess is automatically exported to the grid. Just think when you are away on your summer holidays all the electricity being generated throughout the day will be making you

You will need to contact your utility company to make an arrangement with them if you want to be paid for your excess power. There are some tough targets in place for energy companies to supply electricity from renewable sources so most utility companies will be keen for you to export your surplus electricity to them, and if they don't its easy to change companies. The way in which the utility companies paid you for your electricity can vary from company to company, some companies require an export meter to exactly monitor your export whilst others will estimate the export based on the size of your system (this can work in your favour).
